Aaron Schuck
Aaron Schuck is a writer and former educator whose work bridges history, theology, and moral reflection. A lifelong student of the medieval world and Christian thought, he explores how faith and culture shape one another across the centuries. Before turning to writing full time, Schuck spent more than fifteen years coaching basketball at both the high school and collegiate levels, where he learned that discipline, endurance, and moral clarity are as vital on the court as in the classroom—or the page. His essays and fiction challenge readers to confront the tension between belief and modernity, drawing from the intellect of Aquinas, the vision of Bishop Barron, the grit of sport, and a discerning critique of today’s cultural landscape. His debut historical novel, Blood and Stone: Book One of The Siege of Château Gaillard Series—a story of faith, endurance, and defiance amid one of medieval Europe’s most brutal sieges—will be available in late fall to early winter.
